Was in town for work looking for a great taqueria and stumbled upon this place. It happened to be a Tuesday and they were selling street tacos for $1.50. Chips and salsa were brought to the table within seconds of me sitting down! Great service, I decided to order a few street tacos to see if I was a fan of the meat they were serving, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and flavor of the carnitas street taco. The green sauce was not so great, the pico was OK, the hot sauce they had on the table were definitely not used that often. I ended up ordering a large side of guacamole for five dollars and a total of six street tacos for $1.50 each. The street tacos were amazing. The guacamole was nothing to talk about. Overall, the street tacos and chips were my favorite part of the meal along with the family service. Excellent restaurant highly recommend on a Tuesday.
Love their Chile Rellenos. Bottled beers, but no wine. Friendly staff. Their taco truck is good too.

Best Burritos in Humboldt County! We go to eat here at least once a week but I would go everyday if I could. Definitely try the Birria burrito and get the red salsa on the side. Absolutely incredible. We love you guys! Everyone there is so nice and we have never had bad food from here ever. The quality is so good and the flavors will knock your socks off. BEST BURRITOS EVER
This is the best Mexican food in Arcata! None of that weird fake stuff here. I always stop by when I come to town. The dining room is small, but they always have enough free tables. The staff is very prompt and polite, and we always have a great time. I've tried about 50% of the menu and never had a bad meal. It's always great. My top faves are the chile relleno and the 3 quesa birria tacos.
I went earlier today and loved it! The service was amazing, the young lady who helped us out was very friendly and timely, and the restaurant itself has cute decor and is very clean. I got two of their tacos, one carne asada and the other shrimp, both were delicious. My boyfriend got the chicken burrito and he said it was a solid burrito. We would definitely come back when the area.
Authentic Mexican food in Humboldt? Look no further because you're at the right place when you eat here. This is the only place I will go to for quesabirrias. The service is top tier just like the food. Jason, the manager is always so hospitable to everyone and despite it being crazy busy in there at times, he never fails to make sure our table is doing good, our waters filled, and always expresses his gratitude towards every customer who steps foot into the restaurant. Without a doubt my favorite Mexican restaurant around here. The ambiance reminds me of a sweet little abuelita's home where they are always asking if you're hungry and they cook you the most delicious homemade meal.
You wont find a better experience in all of Eureka, heck all of Humboldt Co. Their staff are super kind and attentive. Their food is absolutely incredible. The Birria was some of the best I have ever had and I consider myself to be a Birria aficionado. Just eat here, dont even second guess it. Awesome staff and epic food!
